Tweedie, James

Jim Tweedie turned pipes for William Sinclair in Leith during the 50′s and 60′s, then went on to start Inveran Bagpipe Makers, which is now run by PM Brian Donaldson. Tweedie drones were known to produce an outstanding tone.

    i have recently inherited a set of fullivory mounted tweedies .a great set beutifully made top class work and an awesome tone!
